Send in the Clouds
It’s not a question of if a business will adopt cloud computing, but rather what type? To help with this decision, let’s explore the two heavyweight cloud contenders – hybrid and multi – currently making headline.
The hybrid model is a mix of private (on-premises) cloud and public (third-party) cloud services, while the multi-cloud approach is one where a company has invested in services from more than one external cloud provider.
Both have their benefits, for example, hybrid clouds allow for more customisation and control, and multi clouds mean more agility and competitive pricing. But there’s more, so much more. For the subject of cloud computing is a vast one and set to spread.
